Notice: Bitkub Exchange Does Not Support Deposit and Withdrawal of LTC via MWEB

According to the announcement from the Litecoin team regarding an upgrade of the Litecoin Network and the activation of its new feature called Mimblewimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) that allows users to hide some information of their transactions including wallet address and the transferred amount of LTC of each transaction, Bitkub Exchange hereby informs you of the operating procedures for the related services as follows.

1. Bitkub Exchange does not support the deposit and withdrawal of LTC via MWEB on the Litecoin Network as the feature is contrary to the regulations of The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC). (Please refer to the SEC announcement attached to this article.)

• Concealing of transaction details makes the transactions become private transactions, and LTC is then considered a Private Coin which the SEC does not allow any licensed exchange to proceed with such transactions.
  
  

2. Please avoid creating LTC deposits and withdrawals via MWEB to Bitkub Exchange as it can lead to an asset loss, and such lost assets cannot be recovered.

Remarks:

• Please make your trades cautiously as the token is under the evaluation process of the token qualification.
• To prevent the loss of assets while depositing LTC to Bitkub Exchange, please make sure that you do not use the MWEB feature with your transactions on the Litecoin Network as the confirmed transactions cannot be canceled or recovered.
• Bitkub Exchange reserves the right not to recover lost assets from transactions made via the MWEB feature.
• Cryptocurrency investments are classified as high-risk investments. Before making investment decisions, please consider the risks and invest carefully.
• Bitkub Exchange reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend or change these announcement details, and we will further notify you if there is any change.
