ILV or Illuvium is a game that is built on blockchain technology. Its gameplay is a mix between an open-world adventure and a collectible game where the player finds and catches the monsters called Illuvials that are scattered throughout the world of Illuvium in order to create a team and battle with other players.
In Illuvium, ILV tokens are the main currency. Not only are they given to the players who complete missions in the game, but they are also the governance token that gives players the right to participate and voice opinions on the further development of the game. Players can also choose to lock (stake) ILV in the game for various benefits.
However, the core gameplay of Illuvium is the monsters, Illuvials, which are NFT that players can collect and trade with other players. Players can even fuse them together to create a more powerful Illuvial.
What is special about Illuvium?
One thing that players should notice is that the graphics of Illuvium are super robust and colorful. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Illivium’s graphics can be compared to AAA games in the industry.
Illuvium is not all about looks because they are integrating layer-2 blockchain solutions with Immutable X (IMX) to power NFT and allowing players to trade NFT with a very low gas fee.
