Bitkub will temporarily suspend the deposit and withdrawal of BAND for the Bandchain system upgrade.
Any transaction of BAND could not proceed during the period. However, trading (Buy & Sell) will not be affected.
System upgrade details
- This upgrade will occur after the official voting results on 12/07/2021. If an upgrade is required, the developer team will perform the upgrade on 13/07/21 at 6:00 PM (GMT+7). It is estimated to take 6 hours to complete.
- This will upgrade Bandchain from Phase 1 (GuanYu) to Phase 2 (Laozi).
- Laozi proposes three significant features: Streaming Revenue Feature for Data Providers, Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol, and Throughput Optimization (8x Increase in Requests Per Block).

Remarks:
- Because the exact block time cannot be specified for the upgrade, therefore, we need to announce the temporary suspension earlier than the official schedule to prevent mistakes.
- However, if there is a change in our scheduled maintenance near the upgrade time, you will be notified accordingly.
