Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. has officially announced warning signs related to trading in order to warn investors about the risk of digital assets in their situations. The warning signs are listed and described below.
P30, W10, W20, and W30 Sign
The warning signal will be displayed when there is a difference in the last price of digital assets. P30, W10, W20, and W30 may display following the 2 main criteria:
1. For digital assets with volume most traded on Bitkub compared to other exchanges. P30 may work as follows:
- Digital assets have 90% or more of trading volume on Bitkub based on information from www.coinmarketcap.com or www.coingecko.com or any other sources that enable trading volume comparison.
- To find a price difference, the last price is compared with the closing price on the previous day at 11:59 p.m.
- If the change of the current last price from the closing price on the previous day reaches 30% or more, the P30 sign will be displayed until the change drops below 30% or the day ends (If the closing price on the previous day changes, resulting in the price difference dropping below 30%).
- If the price difference drops below 30% for 10 minutes, the warning sign will disappear.
- When the system launches a warning signal, a warning message will display as below
“Price Difference Warning (P30)
Description: The last price of this asset is 30% different from the closing price at 11:59 PM on the previous day. Please consider risks according to the price difference before placing orders.”
2. For digital assets with trading volume on both Bitkub and other exchanges, W10, W20, and W30 may work as follows:
- Digital assets that have less than 90% of trading volume on Bitkub compare with other exchanges, based on information from www.coinmarketcap.com or www.coingecko.com or any other reference sources that can compare trading volumes.
- If the difference in price is equal to or greater than 10%, the W10 warning sign will display
- If the difference in price is equal to or greater than 20%, the W20 warning sign will display
- If the difference in price is equal to or greater than 30%, the W30 warning sign will display
- W10, W20, and W30 signs will display until the price changes according to the above conditions. Examples of warning sign displays are as follows.
- If the price changes resulting in the last price difference being greater than the criteria of the current warning sign, the warning sign will change according to the latest price difference percentage.
For example, the W10 sign is currently displaying a 14.55% price difference. Later, the price adjusts resulting in a 21.22% price difference, the system will change from the W10 to the W20 sign. - If the price changes resulting in the last price difference being less than the criteria of the current warning sign, the warning sign will change according to the latest price difference percentage.
For example, the W20 is currently displaying a 24.66% price difference. Later, the price adjusts resulting in a 19.35% difference, the system will change from the W20 to the W10 sign if the difference stays below 20% for 10 minutes or longer.
If the price changes resulting in the price difference being less than 10% for 10 minutes, the warning sign will disappear.
When the system shows the W10, W20, or W30 warning signal, the warning message will display as below
“Title: Price Difference Warning (W10 or W20 or W30)
Description: The last price of this asset differs from the price of other exchanges. Please consider risks according to the price difference before placing orders.”
- If the price changes resulting in the last price difference being greater than the criteria of the current warning sign, the warning sign will change according to the latest price difference percentage.
Trading Suspension Sign (SP)
SP represents a temporary suspension of digital asset trading for at least 24 hours. SP may display due to:
1. News or public issues about the digital assets and significant impacts on investors
2. Inappropriate orders which give significant impacts on investors
3. Actions of companies or digital asset developers which indicate violation or neglect to comply with the laws and regulations regarding the Digital Assets Act
4. Circumstances that give significant impacts on digital asset trading/exchanging
Delisted Sign (DE)
DE represents the suspension of trading in a digital asset in order to delist the asset from the exchange.
Maintenance Sign (MA)
MA represents the suspension of trading a digital asset in order to maintain and enhance the system before resuming as scheduled by the company.
