Here are some frequently asked questions about adding a bank account to your Bitkub account.
1. What should I submit to register a bank account for my Bitkub Account?
We require a photo of the first page of your bank book (both the back page of the bank book cover and the page with the bank account owner's name). The name of the bank account's owner must match the name of your Bitkub account.
2. What information should be captured in the photo?
The bank book image should show your bank, your complete name, and your complete bank account number. The image must be clear and readable.
3. Can I use a bank account registered under a different name?
No. The name of the bank account's owner must match the name of your Bitkub account for security purposes.
4. Can I link a foreign bank account to my Bitkub account?
No. At the moment, we operate with local banks in Thailand only.
5. Can I use the English name?
Please see the name stated in the bank book and use the same language.
6. If my online bank account does not have a branch name, what should I enter when adding the bank account?
You can enter a hyphen (-) in the "Branch" field.
How to Request a Digital Passbook Cover
If the bank account you wish to add to your Bitkub account is an online bank account (without a physical passbook), you can request the "passbook cover" through the bank's application or internet banking service to upload during the bank account addition process.
As the passbook cover request procedures may vary between banks, you may study the following examples of how to request a passbook cover from three banks. This information can be used as a guideline for your own bank's process.
- Kasikorn Bank (KBANK) Procedure
- Log in to the application, select "More" (the three dots symbol).
- Select "Settings".
- Select "Accounts/Cards".
- Select the account for which you want to request a passbook cover from "My Accounts". (This feature is only available for bank accounts opened online.)
- Select "Virtual Passbook".
- Select "Save" to save the passbook cover.
- Krungthai Bank (KTB) Procedure (reference)
- Log in to the application, go to the main page, and select "Account".

Remark: Passbook cover request procedures may change according to the policies of each bank. If the bank you use is not included in this list, please study the detailed methods directly from that bank's official channels.
