To facilitate customers, our system will record some or all information sent in our live chat depending on where you access the chat. For more information, please take a look below.
Live Chat Conversations on the Bitkub Website
- For customers using Bitkub Live Chat on the Bitkub website or a web browser, the system will store the contact information filled in on the initial page before entering the chat in cookies: name, phone number, and email. This helps save time when they contact Bitkub Support via chat on the same device.
- However, please note that the content of conversations that occur through the chat on the Bitkub website or via web browsers is not stored.
- If you need a chat history on the Bitkub website, you can follow the instructions in this article.
Live Chat Conversations on the Bitkub Application
- Unlike the Bitkub Live Chat on the website, the chat system on the Bitkub application saves everything, from contact information and conversation content, on the device you are using. You can access your conversation history with support agents anytime by returning to the chat page on the Bitkub application on the same device, even if you close and reopen the application.
To delete your contact information from the cookies in your web browser (name, phone number, and email entered on the initial page before accessing the chat) or remove the chat history from the application, please follow the steps outlined below.
How to Delete Contact Information in Web Browsers
If you prefer not to have the system store your information on a specific device (for example, when using our chat system on a public computer), you can delete the cache and cookies by following the methods provided in the articles below:
- For Google Chrome
- For Safari
How to Delete Chat History on the Bitkub Application
- Log out from the Bitkub application at Setting > Log Out, and then log back in.
Remarks:
- Clearing cookies will permanently delete cookies from that particular device and cannot be restored; this may result in the deletion of other login information or a change in the websites' behaviors.
