What is RNDR?
RNDR, also known as RenderToken, is the digital token specific to the Render Network. Its main function is to serve as an intermediary for exchanges within the network. Those who require the processing power must pay RNDR to the lenders, and in return, the lenders receive compensation in RNDR tokens.
The RNDR tokens were created in a limited supply of 536,870,912 tokens. They were first released in October 2017 through a public token sale. From January 2018 to May 2018, 25% of the RNDR tokens were sold to the public, 10% were allocated to reserves, and the remaining 65% were placed in an Escrow system to help maintain a balanced supply and demand of tokens within the Render Network.
Who Created RNDR?
The creator of RNDR is Jules Urbach. He is the founder and CEO of Render Network and is widely recognized as a leading figure in the fields of computer graphics, streaming, and cloud computing. He holds more than 70 patents and has over 25 years of experience in the industry.
Jules is also the CEO of OTOY, a company that has won an Academy Award for GPU cloud graphics and CGI technology. His expertise and contributions have made a significant impact on the industry, positioning him as a key innovator in the field of graphics and rendering technology
