GLMR is the native currency of the Moonbeam network used for gas fees, governance, and incentives for node providers. 

It has marketcap of $138,049,301 USD equal to 4.7 Billion THB and placed at #160 on Coinmarketcap ranking. 1 token is worth 0.1862 USD (6 THB) at the time of writing.

Glimmer Token Usage and Circulation

Glimmer token was created into the system with a total of one billion. It was allocated for the first time at the community event called 'Take Flight' for 10% (100 million tokens). Glimmer has an inflation rate of 5% per year meaning that the tokens in the system are not limited.

Moonbeam allocation can be divided into 13 categories ranking from largest allocation to lowest allocation which are stated below.
