Many people are probably familiar with social media accounts or online profiles, as we all use them as tools to create profiles, generate content, build communities for discussions, and explore activities or interests in our daily lives. However, this is still based on the foundation of Web2 technology, which is centralized, and profile owners like us need more independence in controlling these accounts. Is it better if today we had technology that allowed us more freedom to create profiles, content, and connections than ever before? This is the concept of Cyber, which will be discussed in this article.
Get to know Cyber
Cyber is a decentralized social network that has been dubbed the largest social network of Web3, enabling developers to create social applications and enhance user capabilities. The three main components of Cyber are CyberProfile, which is a decentralized digital identity standard that users own and control. Cyber serves as the link between personal data, various content, and user’s social connections. Lastly, CyberWallet is an independent and interoperable smart contract wallet compatible with ERC-4337 for creating social experiences in the Web3 world, ready for widespread use.
What is ERC-4337?
ERC-4337, also known as Account Abstraction, will transform the user’s wallet into a Smart Contract account by merging two types of accounts into a new account that doesn’t necessarily require a Private Key but can be accessed through a two-step verification (2FA) or biometric identity confirmation (Biometric) and can recover the Private Key in case it is lost.
