Passkey: Possible errors and solutions

Errors that you might face while using the passkey and the solutions for each error are as follows.

1. error 10500

  • For iOS devices: Please enable the iCloud keychain by going to Settings > Select Password > Select Password options > Activate the toggle for "Autofill password and passkey" and "iCloud Keychain".
  • For Andriod devices: When using the passkey (whether to confirm a coin withdrawal or delete the passkey), please make sure that you select the same email account used when installing the passkey.


2. error 500
If you see this error, please try the following.

  • Make sure that your Bitkub application is updated to at least version 3.31.1.
  • Update the operating system of your device to the latest version.
  • Restart your device.
  • Delete your Bitkub application and reinstall it.
  • Reset your network or internet connection.
  • For iOS devices: Please enable the iCloud keychain by going to Settings > Select Password > Select Password options > Activate the toggle for "Autofill password and passkey" and "iCloud Keychain".


3. A loading logo appears when installing the passkey

If this occurs, please check whether you have more than 7 email accounts. If so, it is advisable to delete and keep only up to 5 email accounts or fewer before trying to install the passkey again.

4. Unable to use a security key, such as Ubikey, on the application
Currently, using such a key is not yet supported in the application. However, you may use it on the web version instead.
