According to Messari, Tezos conducted the ICO in 2017 and was able to raise 65,681 BTC and 361,122 ETH which was about $231 millions. Thus Tezos is considered one of the biggest ICO projects. After that 763,306,929.68 XTZ were created and allocated as following detail:
79.59% — to ICO participants
0.41% — to Early Backers and contractors
10% — to the Tezos Foundation
10% — to Dynamic Ledger Solutions
XTZ, however, was created without the maximum supply limit in order to meet the growing demand of the market. According to Coinmarketcap as of 21 June 2022, there are 920,476,476 XTZ circulating the market.
