According to Messari, AVAX tokens were generated at a disposal amount of 720,000,000 AVAX. AVAX was initially released 50%, or 360,000,000, and was distributed among early investors in both private and public sales. The remaining 50% will be gradually released as a reward to those who lock their tokens in the platform (Staking) for a period of 10 years starting from 2020.
