ENJ, or the Enjin coin, is a medium currency on the Enjin Network which was established as a marketplace and a trading platform for the online gaming community. The network is also helpful in transferring blockchain assets which include both gaming assets and currencies quickly and efficiently.
The Enjin network is built on the Ethereum blockchain, making the ENJ a coin under the ERC-20 standard.
The network is well-equipped with a variety of functions, whether it's an open marketplace, wallet, and beam that aids the storage and distribution of various assets on the platform. Users are able to develop their own currencies and sub-currencies within games and applications; all of which are created through a process called “minting" that takes account of trading ENJ coins for said in-game currencies, which, in return, are managed under a smart contract and a smart wallet.
