IMX is a native token of Immutable X, which is designed to support the use of NFT on mass adoption scale.
The benefits of IMX are as follows;
- Pay for transaction fee - any transaction related to NFT that occurs on Immutable X will include a transaction fee that uses IMX as a medium.
- Staking for rewards - IMX holders can participate in a staking program in order to improve the overall security of the network. The IMX tokens that are deducted from the aforementioned transaction fee will be compiled in the Staking Rewards Pool and then distributed to participants on a monthly basis.
- Governance - IMX token also grants its holders the right to participate in the governance of the network.
