The dYdX platform was developed by the non-profit dYdX Foundation. The foundation’s headquarter is in the state of Zug, Switzerland. Its board members include Arthur Cheong, Rebecca Rettig, and Markus Spillman.
The dYdX Foundation intends for the community to maintain and manage the platform on a decentralized basis, thus designing dYdX to have a governance system where DYDX token holders can help in managing the platform.
