Are the finite amount of Bitcoins a limitation?

There are only 21 million Bitcoins that can ever exist in circulation. However, this characteristic will never be a limitation for bitcoin to function as a currency. Since there are many subunits in one Bitcoin, people can transfer, buy, and sell their Bitcoin from anywhere between several Bitcoin to all the way down to one hundred millionth of one Bitcoin.
