Bitkub Exchange will support the token merge of Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) to Artificial Superintelligence (ASI)

According to the announcement made by the token issuer of Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) of their participation in the new project called "Artificial Superintelligence Alliance" which involves the merge of Fetch.ai (FET), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), and SingularityNET (AGIX) tokens and aims to create a decentralized artificial superintelligence by integrating the strengths of the three projects under a single vision (reference), Bitkub Exchange (“Company”) is pleased to announce that we will support the mentioned project. The token merge of the OCEAN to the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) token is expected to occur in mid-July 2024. The details of the token merge from OCEAN to ASI can be found below.

1. Change of token name

• Current token: Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)

• New token: Artificial Superintelligence (ASI)

2. Change of token symbol

The logo of the ASI token that will appear on the platform of Bitkub Exchange is shown below.

3. Token ratio after merging OCEAN to ASI

According to the OCEAN token issuer’s guideline, OCEAN tokens will be changed to ASI tokens at a ratio of 1:0.433226 (1 OCEAN : 0.433226 ASI).

4. Schedule

• Bitkub Exchange will further announce the schedules for related processes to merging of OCEAN to ASI tokens including the deposit, withdrawal, and trading (buy-sell) termination/activation of OCEAN and ASI respectively on our official communication channels. Please follow us closely for more updates.

• Trading of OCEAN is available until the Company begins the token merge to ASI according to the schedule which will be announced further.

• The Company will change the OCEAN tokens stored in all Bitkub wallets to ASI automatically; the customers who hold OCEAN tokens on Bitkub Exchange do not need to process anything concerning this merge. Once the token merge is completed, the ASI tokens will be stored in ASI wallets on Bitkub Exchange.

• If you do not consent to Bitkub Exchange to merge your OCEAN tokens in your Bitkub wallet into ASI tokens, please consider managing your digital assets carefully before the said token merge according to the schedule that will be announced further.
