Bitkub Exchange will support the token migration of Fantom (FTM) to Sonic (S)

Following the new operations plan of the Fantom's token issuer (reference), Bitkub Exchange (“Company”) will support the migration of the Fantom (FTM) to Sonic (S) tokens. Please see the details below.

1. Change of token name

• Current token: Fantom (FTM)

• New token: Sonic (S)

2. Change of network 

• Current network: Fantom Network

• New network: Sonic Network

3. Change of token symbol

The logo of the S token that will appear on the Bitkub Exchange platform is shown below.

4. Token ratio after upgrading FTM to S

According to the FTM token issuer’s guideline, FTM tokens will be migrated to S tokens at a ratio of 1:1 (1 FTM : 1 S).

5. Schedule

• Bitkub Exchange will further announce the schedules for related processes to migrating FTM to S tokens including the deposit, withdrawal, and trading (buy-sell) termination/activation of the FTM and S tokens respectively on our official communication channels. Please follow us closely for more updates.

• FTM trading is available until the Company begins the token migration to S according to the schedule which will be announced further.

• The Company will migrate the FTM tokens stored in all Bitkub wallets to S tokens automatically; customers who hold FTM tokens on Bitkub Exchange do not need to process anything concerning this migration. Once the token migration is completed, the S tokens will be stored in S wallets on Bitkub Exchange.

• If you do not consent to Bitkub Exchange to migrate your FTM tokens in your Bitkub wallet to S tokens, please consider managing your digital assets carefully before we begin the said token migration according to the schedule that will be announced further.
