Viction: Ethereum-Compatible Layer 1 for Customizable Web3 Solutions

Modified on Tue, 23 Sep at 6:44 PM

What is Viction?

Viction is a Layer 1 blockchain platform that emphasizes scalability and near-zero fees. It utilizes a Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) consensus mechanism to build a community for developing widely adopted Web3 applications. It enables developers to create EVM-compatible platforms, supporting fast operations, privacy, flexibility, and the ability to customize or build dApps according to their needs, and can facilitate liquidity for all users within a single platform.

Getting to Know Viction Blockchain

Viction is a blockchain operating with a Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) consensus system on its Mainnet since 2018. It boasts speed capabilities, achieving 2,000 transactions per second (TPS) and a block creation time of 2 seconds, with near-zero gas fees.

With a mission to promote the use of Web3 applications by millions of users through efficient blockchain technology like the improved EVM, it offers a variety of products designed to meet the needs of speed, privacy, usability, and liquidity for all users within a single platform.

The Viction network is built on a layer that facilitates rapid transactions without compromising decentralization principles. Its Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) system features a fair voting mechanism, strict security, and consistency. This allows VIC token holders to participate in staking on a high-quality network with over 150 Masternodes, while also enabling performance monitoring and governance.

The Viction Story: From TomoChain to Present Day

Viction, formerly known as TomoChain from Vietnam, was co-founded by Tung Hoang, Son Nguyen, Le Ho, and Long Vuong in November 2018. Subsequently, TomoChain was rebranded as Viction after being acquired by Coin98, under the guidance of Viction Foundation Council members Thanh Le and Vinh Nguyen, who are also co-founders of the Ninety-Eight Ecosystem.

Following the rebranding as Viction, it has undergone rapid development, focusing on community-driven growth and scalability. This includes the development of infrastructure and protocols such as Viction Zero Gas. Additionally, Viction envisions creating an ecosystem where everyone can participate without facing high costs or technical complexities.

Viction's Key Features

  • Zero-Gas Transactions: One of Viction's most attractive features is the implementation of gasless transactions. This eliminates fees, making the blockchain more accessible and encouraging smaller transactions and increased user engagement.
  • Security: Viction's POSV consensus mechanism, along with its double validation feature, ensures a high level of network security.
  • Scalability: Viction's World Wide Chain enhances scalability, enabling the platform to handle a large number of transactions without compromising network speed or efficiency. This is crucial for supporting the growth of decentralized applications and the overall ecosystem.
  • EVM Compatibility: Viction simplifies the development process for dApp developers by supporting EVM-compatible smart contracts. This allows existing projects on Ethereum to easily migrate to Viction, expanding the platform's ecosystem and attracting a wider developer community.

What is VIC Token?

VIC is the native token of the Viction ecosystem. It is used for various functions within the platform, such as:

  • Buying and selling in-game items and NFTs.
  • Paying for transaction fees.
  • Participating in governance decisions on Masternodes.
  • Staking to earn rewards.

The VIC token is a VRC-25 standard token and supports ERC-20 or ERC-721 tokens. This simplifies processes and makes transactions with the VRC-25 standard much cheaper, almost free. There is also a VRC-725 standard token that is similar to NFTs.

The Zero Gas Fee feature for users allows everyone to participate in DeFi activities such as lending, farming, and staking, and to join campaigns with little or no cost. VRC-25 tokens help eliminate barriers, enabling users to seamlessly engage in DeFi activities without complicated procedures, providing an accessible and user-friendly experience.

Viction Token Distribution

The VIC token has a total supply of 210,000,000 VIC. On October 29, 2024, the Viction network underwent a hard fork according to proposal VIP #1. As a result, the total VIC supply increased from 100,000,000 VIC to 210,000,000 VIC. The token distribution is as follows:
