Due to the unusual trading activity of Cortex (CTXC) which resulted in an extremely volatile price causing extremely high risk for traders on 8 January 2021, Bitkub has temporarily suspended Cortex (CTXC) trading in order to investigate this matter and to protect all investors. If any misuse action is found, legal proceedings will be taken.
Any user affected by the incident will be compensated according to the below terms and conditions:
1. Bitkub will offer compensation in Thai Baht to users who bought CTXC on 8 January 2021 from 00:00:01 AM - 11:59:59 PM (GMT+7) and has not yet traded nor made any profit from selling.
2. If the purchased CTXC has not been sold within the day of the incident, users will receive compensation based on the actual THB that you have spent in order to buy the CTXC during the incident.
3. If the purchased CTXC amount has been fully or partially sold on the day but users have not received THB in return, users will be compensated the difference of the total THB amount spent on your CTXC buy order made on the day.
Example: THB amount used for buying CTXC on that day - THB amount received from selling CTXC on that day = The compensation amount users will be receiving.
Our actions are intended to protect the advantages of all traders on the Bitkub platform. We will continue developing our services and platforms to prevent any unusual trading activity and suspicious transactions that may affect our traders. We will also improve the alert system to help all traders for better consideration in your investment in the future.
