How does Golem work?

Modified on Sat, 18 Feb, 2023 at 7:29 PM

Golem brings together computers in a peer-to-peer network allowing both application owners and individual users, called "requestors", to rent resources of other users’ machines or the "providers".

  1. Requestors: rent Golem’s computer power and pay GLM to access such service
  2. Providers: get paid for renting out their hardware or computer power
  3. Software developers: can use the Golem network as a distribution channel of their software. You can compare this to Google play store or Apple store.
