What is Golem’s Application Registry?

Modified on Sat, 18 Feb 2023 at 09:14 PM

Application Registry is an Ethereum smart contract similar to Google play store or Apple store that lets anyone publish their own applications that can automatically run on the Golem network. It gives developers a place to publish their work and requestors more tool options for their specific needs.

GLM is also used in the Application Registry in which providers and software developers need to submit deposits in order to participate in the software validation and certification.

Application Registry is divided into 3 categories:
1. Authors - Publish applications
2. Validators - Review and certify applications
3. Providers - Choose validators
