Announcement: Rename of Axelar to Wrapped Axelar

As Bitkub Exchange listed and launched the deposit, withdrawal, and trading systems of Axelar (AXL) in November 2022 (reference), the Company has closely monitored the operations and suggestions from our customers. In this regard, the Company decided to rename the AXL token according to the details below in order to improve the user experience for all Bitkub Exchange customers. Please be assured that this change does not affect your assets in any way.

Related Details of Axelar Renaming

• The Axelar token mentioned in this announcement is the same token as mentioned in the AXL listing announcement (reference).
• The previous name of “Axelar” used on Bitkub Exchange will be changed to “Wrapped Axelar” according to the token type of AXL that Bitkub Exchange supports, and the supported network for Wrapped Axelar transactions with Bitkub Exchange is Ethereum Network (ERC-20) only. However, the abbreviation of the token remains “AXL”.
• The logo of the AXL token remains the same as shown below.

• The full name of AXL that will appear on the application, website, and emails of Bitkub Exchange will be changed according to the aforementioned details starting on 17 January 2023 at 05:30 PM (GMT+7) onwards.

Remarks:

• For AXL deposit and withdrawal, please use only the wallet addresses on the Ethereum (ERC-20) for your transactions and fill in all the details correctly to prevent the loss of assets as the confirmed transactions cannot be cancelled or recovered.
• A transfer of AXL to a wallet that is not supported Wrapped Axelar may lead to a loss of assets. Bitkub Exchange reserves the right not to recover lost assets from such cases.
• Cryptocurrency investments are classified as high-risk investments. Before making investment decisions, please do research, consider the risks, and invest carefully.
• Bitkub Exchange reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend or change these announcement details, and we will further notify you if there is any change.
