Announcement: Deprecation of Old API Endpoints for Placing and Cancelling Orders of Digital Assets

Referring to the announcement regarding the activation of the new API endpoints for placing and canceling orders of digital assets with Bitkub Exchange in 2022 (reference) to increase the efficiency of our public APIs, we would like to inform you of the new schedule for the deprecation which was postponed from the previous announcement (reference). Please see the details below.


1. Four current API endpoints that will be deprecated on 27 March 2023 from 12:00 PM (GMT+7) onwards:

  • POST /api/market/place-bid
  • POST /api/market/place-ask
  • POST /api/market/cancel-order
  • POST /api/market/place-ask-by-fiat


2. Three new API endpoints that became active to replace the old endpoints on 3 November 2022 are now fully effective:

  • POST /api/market/v2/place-bid
  • POST /api/market/v2/place-ask
  • POST /api/market/v2/cancel-order


In case you are currently using any API endpoints listed in clause 1, please switch to using the new endpoints (as listed in clause 2) by the aforementioned date and time.


Other APIs that are not mentioned in this announcement are still available as usual.
