Bitkub Exchange to Support the Upgrade of GALA Token

Due to the upgrade of Gala Games to add features and improve the performance of Gala (GALA) tokens (reference), Bitkub Exchange will support the said upgrade for the benefit of our customers. The related information is as follows.

Smart Contract Details

• The smart contract address of GALA(v1) is 0x15D4c048F83bd7e37d49eA4C83a07267Ec4203dA.

Change to

• The smart contract address of GALA(v2) is 0xd1d2Eb1B1e90B638588728b4130137D262C87cae.

Upgrade of GALA to GALA(v2)

• Bitkub Exchange will temporarily suspend the deposit and withdrawal of GALA (original token) in order to take a snapshot of the total GALA balance. However, the GALA trading is available as usual. (See the schedule below.)

• The ratio for GALA(v2) migration is 1:1 (1 GALA : 1 GALA(v2)).

• The GALA(v2) token will be called and symbolized as “GALA” on Bitkub Exchange after the deposit and withdrawal systems resume. 

Operation Plan for Original GALA Tokens (GALA(v1))

• GALA(v1) tokens will be migrated to a new GALA(v1) wallet after the token upgrade is completed. (read more about GALA(v1) from this link)

* Total balance = available balance (amount of tokens that are not in order) + in order balance (amount of tokens that are in buy, sell, or withdrawal order)

Example

In case you held 100 GALA (original token) at the snapshot time.

After the upgrade completion, you would hold GALA (version 2 which is called and symbolized as "GALA" on our system) = 100 GALA in the current GALA wallet.

• Snapshot process of GALA total balance
  16 May 2023 at 02:00 AM (GMT+7)

• Deposit and withdrawal of GALA (v2 token) back in service
  16 May 2023 at 10:45 AM (GMT+7)

• GALA(v1) withdrawal back in service
