Announcement Amendment: GALA(v1) Withdrawal Opening

According to the announcement of Bitkub Exchange regarding the temporary suspension of the Gala (GALA) deposit and withdrawal to support the token upgrade to GALA(v2) on 15 May 2023 (please refer to this announcement), the process was completed on 16 May 2023 at 10:45 AM (GMT+7).

Bitkub Exchange would like to inform you of the following details regarding the GALA(v1) withdrawal opening.

• The original GALA token has successfully been upgraded to GALA(v2), and you can make GALA(v2) deposits, withdrawals, and trading as usual. Kindly note that the GALA(v2) token is currently called "GALA" on Bitkub Exchange.

• As the Gala Games team has not made any announcements regarding operational plans for the GALA(v1) token which now has no trading or utility value, we decided to no longer support the deposits, withdrawals, and trades of GALA(v1) in order to be aligned with the token policy of Gala Games.

• For the reason stated above, the Company recommends that you take no further actions for the remaining GALA(v1) tokens.

Operation Conditions

• Please note that GALA(v1) has no trading or utility value, and no actions are required for the remaining token. However, in case you want to request an asset recovery in order to withdraw your remaining GALA(v1) from your Bitkub wallet to external wallets or other Exchanges, you can send your request to our Bitkub Support. Kindly note the below conditions before requesting an asset withdrawal. 

  • Bitkub Exchange reserves the right to charge the GALA(v1) withdrawal fee by deducting the amount from the requesting Bitkub Exchange customers’ ETH wallets to use as a gas fee. However, we will inform you of the fee rate on the day of the request for your consideration before continuing to withdraw the GALA(v1) token.

  • The asset recovery process normally takes around 90 days, or the Company will notify customers of the asset recovery processing time on a case-by-case basis.

  • You can send a request to withdraw the GALA(v1) token from 20 May 2023 onwards.

Remarks:

• A transfer of GALA(v1) to a wallet that does not support the tokens may lead to a loss of assets. Please be cautious when withdrawing the GALA(v1) token. Bitkub Exchange reserves the right not to recover lost assets from such cases.

• Bitkub Exchange reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend or change these announcement details. Should there be any changes, we can consider issuing further announcements or prior notice.
