Account Registration on Behalf of Others

In order to register an account with Bitkub Exchange, customers must acknowledge the User Agreement and announcements issued by Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. (“Company”) in order to understand the terms and conditions of the services as well as the terms regarding the account registration. In the User Agreement, the customers can also learn about their responsibilities in the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure that complies with the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction Act. The objectives of the KYC process are to get to know the customers and verify their identities in order to prevent fraud or counterfeit information in transactions.

Furthermore, customers must keep their pins, user IDs, passwords, and API information to themselves and protect them from being used by third parties.

For clarity, we would like to emphasize that customers must register and use their accounts solely by themselves which means:

• They must not disclose their account information to others.

• They must not let others use their accounts in any circumstances.

Account registration on behalf of others (having someone register an account for you) may be considered a violation of the law and the User Agreement of the Company which reserves the right to take appropriate actions based on the Company's decision including

• account suspension,

• partial or sole limitation of services,

• account deactivation.

What should I do if I already let someone use my personal information to register an account?

If you disclose your personal information to someone else for account registration or share your login information with others, the Company recommends that you contact Bitkub Support and request that the account be deactivated as soon as possible for the safety of your assets and personal information.

Basic steps to avoid the unintentional violation 

1. Do not share or give your personal information or verification documents, such as your ID card, to others whether you know them or not.

2. Do not let anyone access your account whether in your presence or behind your back.

3. Do not disclose your account information such as password, OTP, or 2FA code to anyone.

4. Keep your login information and verification documents in a safe place.
