BLUR is an ERC-20 token that operates on the Ethereum blockchain and utilizes a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. It is used for transaction verification and governance on the Blur.io platform, which is a marketplace for collecting Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). BLUR token holders have control over key parameters of the Blur marketplace protocol and the lending protocol named Blend. The parameters control token distribution and inflation, while voting power is proportional to the amount of BLUR tokens owned or acquired.

Who is the founder of Blur (BLUR)?

Studied math and computer science at MIT. Was a Thiel Fellow to drop out of MIT and start Namebase, which I sold to Namecheap.” He further tweeted that Pacman is easier to pronounce than my IRL name, and I will be going by Pacman from now on."

According to Blur’s information, the team includes experienced members from MIT, Citadel, Five Rings Capital, Twitch, Brex, Square, and Y Combinator.
