The Founders of CyberConnect
CyberConnect was founded in November 2021 by Wilson Wei, Ryan Li, Shiyu Zhang, and Zhimao Liu. The parent company of CyberConnect, Cybertino Inc., received investments from various venture capital firms, including Animoca Brands, Multicoin Capital, Sky9 Capital, Draper Dragon, and Lattice Capital. This group of developers is dedicated to creating software that utilizes the CyberConnect network to build Web3 social version dApps.
The Objectives of CyberConnect
CyberConnect aims to address the following issues:
- Data Ownership: In the current social network platform landscape, profits are generated from user data. CyberConnect seeks to restore data ownership to the users, giving them control over their own data.
- Content Management: Traditional centralized content management can lead to distortion of reality, as access and dissemination of content are controlled based on preferences and interests. CyberConnect aims to rectify this by allowing for more transparent and equal content management.
- Fairness: CyberConnect intends to restore equality in the realm of social internet by shifting from centralized control and filtering by developers to a more clear-cut approach, including unbanning user accounts.
