Announcement: Change of Commission Criteria for Referral Program

Due to the recent announcement of The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) as of 1 September 2022, it contains information that is relevant to and affects the commission criteria for the referral program. It states in item (6) that “Cancel the introducing broker agent (IBA) service of cryptocurrency businesses. For digital tokens, an IBA service can be provided.” (Check the full announcement here.) In order to comply with the said policy of the SEC, Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) has, therefore, adjusted our commission criteria and related operations as stated below.

1. The Company will calculate and pay the commission to referrers from the referral program for digital token transactions only*. The commission rate remains at 20% of the referee's trading fee (the referee’s trading fee paid in fee credit is not included) and will be calculated once the trades are successfully completed. Transactions of cryptocurrency trading* will no longer be included in the commission calculation after this announcement.

2. The aforementioned change has been made to be in accordance with the policy of SEC and will become effective on 1 September 2022 onwards.

3. The Company’s facilitation of introducing broker agents for the referral program is for the provision of services related to digital tokens only and is in accordance with the requirements of the SEC.
