Trent McConaghy is the founder and CTO of Ocean Protocol. He has spent most of his young adult life studying the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). His previous work was at Ascribe and BigchainDB, both of which laid the foundation for the creation of the Ocean protocol.
Trent created Ocean Protocol with the intention of developing a platform where users could buy and sell data with ease, while also providing the community the ability to govern the network itself. Furthermore, the protocol has added numerous applications for a variety of usages.
