What if someone bought up all the existing Bitcoins?

Modified on Sat, 18 Feb 2023 at 09:05 PM

There are 21 million bitcoins in total. In June 2019, more than 17.5 million were in circulation. Meaning there still remains 3.5 million coins to be issued in years to come. Due to the competitiveness of the market, it is very unlikely that a single person can buy all the coins.  Bitcoin is a very competitive market with price fluctuations going up and down in accordance with supply and demand.
