You can click/tap on the image below (or select the full screen icon on the bottom right corner to expand) to see how to set up 2FA on the Bitkub application and check the written instructions below.
You can install 2FA for your Bitkub account on the application as follows:
Download and install the Google Authenticator application.
Open the Bitkub mobile application and log in to your account.
Tap the "Profile" button on the bottom menu bar.
Select "Authentication Code"
Tap the "Activate Authentication Code" button.
You can read the brief instructions or tap "Skip" to skip the Google Authenticator app installation step if you have already installed the application.
Copy the security setup key (code) shown above, and tap the "Next" button.
Go to the Google Authenticator application and tap the "Add a code" button.
Select "Enter a setup key".
Enter the email linked to your Bitkub account in the "Account name" field and the key you got from the Bitkub application in the "Your key" field correctly, then tap "Add".
Take the 6-digit code from the Google Authenticator application and enter it into the Bitkub application.
The system will display a success message indicating successful activation. Tap "OK".
Once you have successfully enabled 2FA, the "Authentication Code" section on the main Profile page will display the message "Active" to show that you have successfully enabled two-step verification.
Remarks:
- After the 2FA setup is complete, you are strongly advised not to uninstall the Google Authenticator application; otherwise, your 2FA will be lost, and you must follow the steps from this link to remove 2FA.
- After enabling the function successfully, you need to enter a 2FA code each time you log in or withdraw your asset (In case you haven't created a passkey).
