Verification documents for non-Thai nationals

To open an account with Bitkub Exchange or complete a periodic review (KYC Update), non-Thai users can submit the following documents for KYC verification.


Please submit at least 2 documents under 2 different categories.


Category 1: Work permit - There are 2 types of Thai work permit:

  • Work permit issued by the Thai government that is still valid. If you choose this document, please submit (1) the employer details page and (2) the renewal/extension details page.

OR

  • Work permit issued by the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor of Thailand (Pink card). Please submit the front and back sides of the card.


Category 2: Residence certificate in Thailand such as

  • Driving License (front and back)

  • Resident Permit or Residence Certificate

  • Household registration for foreigners or Yellow House Book 'Thor.Ror.13' which shows your 13-digit ID number. Please submit 2 pages: (1) House particulars and (2) your particulars page.


Category 3: Non-immigrant Visa or Smart VISA

** Remark: The Thailand Entry-Exit Stamps cannot be used as an identity verification document.


Category 4: Document issued by the Thai government or your local government (except passport) such as

  • National ID card

  • Driving License (front and back)

  • Tax Invoice

  • Birth Certificate

  • House Certificate

  • Utility Bill (e.g., electricity bill or water bill)

Category 5: There are 2 types of documents:

  • Academic certificate certified by your academic institution (must show your full name) **For students only**
    • Remark: A transcript of records and certificates (from participating in or winning a competition) cannot be used as an identity verification document.

OR

  • Document issued by your local government. The samples are listed in Category 4.
    • Remark: If you upload at least 1 document under Category 4, you may upload another document listed under Category 5, but they must not be the same type of document.
    • For example, If you uploaded your ID card as a document under Category 4, you could upload your birth certificate as a document under Category 5.


Attention:

  • The documents must contain your information and are still valid.
  • The documents must be in Thai or English only.
  • You can submit photos of the original documents or copied versions. (Your documents can be submitted with or without your signature.)
  • Please ensure that the documents you upload to the system are not encrypted for prompt processing.
  • In case you sign the documents, please make sure that your signature does not cover any details on the document.
