Notice of Litecoin (LTC) Delisting on 23/06/2022 at 06:00 PM (GMT+7)

Due to the activation of a new feature called Mimblewimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) for deposits and withdrawals of Litecoin (LTC) on the Litecoin Network which allows users to conceal the wallet address and the transferred amount of LTC of each transaction, this makes the transactions become private transactions, and Litecoin (LTC) is then considered a Private Coin. This property is contrary to an announcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) regarding the criteria, conditions, and methods for conducting digital asset business (No.14) (please refer to the announcement here).

Bitkub Online Co., Ltd. (‘’the Company’’ or “Bitkub Exchange”) is always determined to strictly comply with the regulations. The Company, therefore, has considered delisting Litecoin (LTC) via MWEB on the Litecoin Network and does not support the LTC deposits via MWEB during the delisting process as the feature is contrary to the aforementioned regulations of SEC, and has carefully considered delisting Litecoin (LTC) from its digital asset exchange platform.

To make the delisting process of Litecoin (LTC) complete efficiently, the Company has prudently prepared the related procedure and kindly asks you to thoroughly consider withdrawing your remaining Litecoin (LTC) tokens before the termination of the Litecoin withdrawal as well as other details according to the schedule below.

Remarks:

• To prevent the loss of assets while depositing LTC to Bitkub Exchange, please make sure that you do not use the MWEB feature with your transactions on the Litecoin Network as the confirmed transactions cannot be canceled or recovered.
• Bitkub Exchange reserves the right not to recover the lost assets from transactions made via the MWEB feature.
