Tax Invoice Information and Frequently Asked Questions

Modified on Tue, 2 Jan at 3:52 PM

Bitkub Exchange will send the tax invoice to the email addresses registered with Bitkub Exchange automatically for the customers who have successful transactions in order to provide them with the daily tax invoice summary which can also be used for their tax filing. The tax invoice will be sent out only 1 copy/customer/day (only on the date with the successful transaction(s)). The information in the tax invoice includes:

1. Bitkub Exchange’s information

2. Customer's account information

3. Issue date of the invoice

4. Summary table of total fee from all successful buy, sell, and withdrawal orders of THB and digital assets combined on the date of successful transactions. The fees are divided and displayed in 5 categories:

  1. Total THB withdrawal fee
  2. Total selling digital assets fee
  3. Total buying digital assets fee
  4. Total digital assets withdrawal fee
  5. Total fee credit received from KUB conversion

5. Tax summary

  • The information that Bitkub Exchange is required by law to the Revenue Department is the total fee credit amounts and all VAT details.

File password

To ensure the security of the information, the tax invoice will be sent as an encrypted file and the customers can open it by entering the following code.

  • Individual customers (KYC): The code is in the form of date/month/year of birth in AD format.
For example, if your birthday is 3 August 1995, the code for opening the file will be 03081995.

*In case your ID card only states the year of birth, for example, 1990-00-00, the code for opening the file will be 00001990.

  • Corporate customers (KYB): The code is the customer’s juristic person registration number.
For example, Bitkub Online Company Limited’s registration number is 0105559117128. Thus, the code for opening the file is 0105559117128.

FAQs

1. If I do not receive the tax invoice from Bitkub, what can I do?

Answer

The system will send the tax invoice to the customers via email with the subject “Bitkub Tax Invoice | สรุปรายการภาษี - (Date)” within the next day after the transaction is successful. For example, if Customer A successfully sells ABC tokens on 1 July 2023, the customer will receive the tax invoice sent to their email address registered with Bitkub Exchange within 2 July 2023.

  • If the email cannot be found in the inbox, please check the spam or junk boxes as well.

  • If the email is not in any mailbox, you can request the tax invoice again by logging in to your Bitkub account on a web browser only (learn more about how to download tax invoices by yourself here).

Remark: If there is a high volume of requests or system malfunction, we will send you the tax invoice within 7 days after the date of successful transaction(s).

2. What can I do if I want the tax invoice summary of more than 1 day?

Answer

  • Individual customers (KYC) can download the tax invoice of the past days, months, or years by themselves (learn more here). However, the tax invoice can be downloaded for a period of not more than 30 days per download. If you want the tax invoices for the longer period, you will need to download more documents specifically for each period (can download many times).
  • Corporate customers (KYB) can also download the tax invoice for the past periods by themselves (learn more here) by selecting the month(s). The system will send the zip file of invoices for the days with successful transactions within the selected period via email. Kindly note that the tax invoice can be downloaded for a period of not more than 12 months per download. If you want the tax invoices for the longer period, you will need to download more documents specifically for each period.

3. When is the cut-off time for issuing the invoice?

Answer

The tax invoice cut-off time is at midnight (GMT+7) every day to collect details from all transactions made on the day, and the tax invoice will be sent to the customers within the next day.

6. I am certain that I enter the correct password but I cannot open the file.

Answer

We recommend that you take these actions.

  • Check if there are any extra special characters, such as a space bar / the space in front of the password you type, or if the caps lock is on unintentionally, etc.

  • Check the language of your keyboard.

  • If everything is correct but you still cannot open the file, please contact Bitkub Support with the related details so we can assist you further.

For corporate customers (KYB): If you type in the correct company registration number but you cannot open the file, we recommend that you enter the tax ID or the branch information you submit when opening the account with us.

Example

Company ABC’s tax ID number is 01xxxxxxxxxxx, registered for Klong Toey branch, the password for opening the file will be “01xxxxxxxxxxx Klong Toey”.
