As part of our ongoing efforts to combat mule accounts and comply with regulations set by the Bank of Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other legal authorities (reference), Bitkub Exchange (“Company”) is introducing additional Terms of Service which will take effect on 31 March 2025.
Key Updates
Applicability
These updated terms apply to customers whose accounts are approved on or after 31 March 2025 (“new customers”).
Company Rights
The Company reserves the right to reject account registrations or refuse services, set service and transaction conditions, including withdrawal limits for THB and digital assets, temporarily hold transactions for security verification, and conduct identity verification for new customers.
Customer Classification & Withdrawal Limits
These withdrawal limits aim to prevent mule account activities, cybercrime, and money laundering. The stated limits are regulatory measures and not solely determined by the Company. For more details on daily withdrawal limits, please click here.
Remark: The classification and criteria outlined above adhere to the guidelines issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.
However, you can deposit THB and digital assets and withdraw THB according to the daily limit and conditions set by the Company according to your KYC level. This condition is also applied to all accounts that are categorized in Class L. To check the limit of each KYC level, please click here.
The above conditions for digital asset withdrawals are in accordance with the guidelines to combat mule accounts, technology crimes, and money laundering, and are not set by the Company. For more details about the Company’s daily limit, please click here.
If a customer needs to withdraw digital assets exceeding the given limit, they may contact the Company to request an increase in their daily withdrawal limit at support@bitkub.com or call 02-032-9555 and 1518 for 24/7 support.
Initial Withdrawal Restrictions for Class S Customers
After the first successful THB deposit, digital asset and THB withdrawals will be temporarily restricted. However, THB withdrawals may be allowed to the same bank account used for the initial deposit only. After the restriction period ends, normal withdrawals will resume, subject to the 50,000 THB daily limit outlined above.
To ensure seamless access to our services, we kindly ask for your cooperation in providing the necessary identity verification documents under these updated Terms of Service.
Cybercrime and money laundering continue to cause financial and emotional harm across Thailand. Your understanding and support in fostering a safer digital financial environment are greatly appreciated. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
