How to gain an access to a deceased user account?

Modified on Wed, 5 Jun at 10:40 AM

In the event that you inherit or otherwise become the trustee of a deceased family member's Bitkub account, you may request asset management in the account by providing us with the following documents:

  1. A copy of the death certificate of the deceased user
  2. A copy of the court order appointing the executor
  3. A trustee's identification documentation such as a copy of an ID card or a copy of a passport (in case of foreign trustees)
  4. A copy of the first page of the bank account book of the trustee
  5. Letter of case termination
  6. Letter of inheritance management (Contact Customer Support for the document)

Please submit all required documents to support@bitkub.com

We will proceed with the request and contact you via email within 7-15 days after all the documents are received.

Remarks

  • Please sign the trustee's name and certify each page as a true copy.
  • In case there are digital assets remaining in the deceased's account, the trustee must open an account with Bitkub Exchange in order to receive the transfer of such digital assets.
  • For the files attached to the email, if they are encrypted, please provide the password to open them. For security, you may send the password separately. Before sending the email, please double-check that the recipient's email address belongs to Bitkub Exchange (end with @bitkub.com).
