How to Check Email Message Header

There are many scammers or people with bad intentions who imitate or use the name or identity of Bitkub Exchange to seek benefits from customers through many contact channels; one of those is emails.

If you receive such a spam email or an email that looks suspicious or is sent from a source that you are certain is not Bitkub Exchange, please report it to Bitkub Support with the following details provided.

• Email address of the sender, such as abc123@email.com

• Email message header details

• Other information that could be provided, such as email body, date and time when you receive the email, the contact channel used by the suspicious individual to reach you, etc.

For the email message header details, you can check it by following the below instructions.

For Gmail users

1. Open the email you want to check the email message header.

2. Click on the arrow next to the word “Reply” located at the top right of the email.

3. Select “Show original”.

4. The header details will appear in a new window; please copy all the texts in this header window.

5. Paste the copied text and send it to Bitkub Support immediately together with other details as mentioned above.

For Outlook users

1. Double-click the email you want to check the email message header.

2. At the Message tab, click on the small arrow below the “Options” section to go to the Internet Headers and open the Message Options window.

3. Copy all the texts in this header window.

4. Paste the copied text and send it to Bitkub Support immediately together with other details as mentioned above.

For Yahoo Users

1. Select the email you want to check the email message header.

2. Click on three dots under the email details and click "View Raw Message".

3. The header details will appear in a new window; please copy all the texts in this header window.

4. Paste the copied text and send it to Bitkub Support immediately together with other details as mentioned above.
