If your mobile phone is broken, lost, or changed, or your authentication application was removed, you will not be able to disable your 2-factor authentication (2FA) by yourself. In this case, please follow the instructions for submitting a 2FA unlock request via Persona.
In case your request via Persona is not successful, you can also submit your 2FA unlock request by sending us the following documents to Bitkub Support.
Required document: Your selfie photo with you holding your Thai ID card or driving license (for Thai citizens) or your foreign passport (for foreign citizens), and a paper that writes:
- "I would like to disable my 2FA."
- "Bitkub.com"
- The email address that you wish to remove the 2FA
- Your contact number
A selfie sample
Remarks:
- Your selfie and all details in the photo must be clear and visible for the most effective verification.
- Please ensure that the documents you upload to the system are not encrypted for prompt processing.
- Your request can be sent via Bitkub Support with the aforementioned information. The checking process will be completed normally within 1 hour but not more than 24 hours after we receive your correct and complete documents. The result will then be sent to you via email.
- After the 2FA setup is complete, you are strongly advised not to uninstall the Google Authenticator application, otherwise, your 2FA will be lost and you must contact Bitkub Support to remove 2FA.
